Build a strong foundation for CAPE Environmental Science success, and test yourself as you go!
Our CAPE Environmental Science course guides sixth-form students through the complete Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) CAPE Environmental Science syllabus: both units and all six modules. Clear, well-organised lessons break down challenging concepts step by step, helping students understand how the natural world works and how people affect it, from ecosystems and populations to farming, energy and pollution in the Caribbean.
With our practice quizzes, students can check their understanding at the end of every module. Each module has five ten-question quizzes written from the syllabus objectives, 300 questions in all, including the calculations examiners ask for, from the Lincoln index and Simpson’s Diversity Index to doubling time, energy efficiency and BOD.
What students will learn:
Unit 1: Ecology, Human Population and Natural Resources
- Module 1: Fundamental Ecological Concepts and Principles: ecosystems, energy flow, nutrient cycles, species interactions, population growth, biodiversity and succession.
